THIS AUTUMN: DISCOVER THE EASY BARREL SESSION AT ALAÏA BAY !

This new wave has been specially designed to make the barrel experience accessible to everyone, from intermediate to advanced surfers. If you already master the Advanced Turn level, you’re ready to try this session !

The session is led by our Alaïa Bay instructors (not surf guides), with a clear goal: to help you surf your first barrel !

 

Compared to the Expert Barrel:

  • The wave can be surfed on the shoulder, without having to position yourself strictly in the pocket.
  • It is slightly longer, especially the barrel.
  • It is more linear, with fewer soft sections that suddenly accelerate.
  • The second section is less powerful and the lip is thinner, making it easier to exit the barrel.
  • Wipeouts are less intense, particularly in the second section!
