Nazar\u00e9, benannt nach dem biblischen Land \u201eNazareth\u201c, ist eine Welle, die h\u00e4ufig H\u00f6hen von 50 Fu\u00df und mehr erreicht. Zum Vergleich: Das ist eine Wasserwand, die h\u00f6her ist als ein vierst\u00f6ckiges Geb\u00e4ude. Nazar\u00e9s Geschichte als Big-Wave-Mutterland beginnt erst in den 2000er Jahren, mit dem Hawaiianer Garrett McNamara und dem einheimischen portugiesischen Bodyboarder Dino Casmimiro.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In dieser Woche findet die\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/-vGa1rrUHMY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s1\">Tudor\u2019s Nazare Big Wave Challenge<\/span><\/a>\u00a0statt. Dieser Einschnitt im Meeresboden liegt be\u00e4ngstigend nah am Strand in einer Tiefe von 20 m. Wenn man sich jedoch vom Strand entfernt, erreicht er schnell eine Tiefe von 50 m, bevor er vollst\u00e4ndig in eine atemberaubende Tiefe von 5 km abf\u00e4llt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Wenn die D\u00fcnung auf den Canyon zuflie\u00dft, teilt sie sich in zwei Teile. Der eine Teil durchquert den Canyon, wobei er seine Kraft beibeh\u00e4lt und dank der unglaublichen Tiefe unter ihm an Geschwindigkeit gewinnt. Der Canyon \u00e4ndert auch die Richtung des Wellengangs, indem er die Wellen zum Strand hin ablenkt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In der Zwischenzeit fliesst eine lokale Str\u00f6mung vom Strand aus in die entgegengesetzte Richtung zu diesem Wellengang.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Der andere Teil der D\u00fcnung bewegt sich entlang der Schlucht, direkt am Rande. Diese beiden Teile treffen wieder aufeinander und bilden zusammen mit der Str\u00f6mung die ber\u00fchmt-ber\u00fcchtigte \u201eDreieckswelle\u201c, f\u00fcr die Nazar\u00e9 ber\u00fcchtigt ist.
