Ala\u00efa Bay ist Gastgeber des ersten Events der Wavepool Surf Tour<\/h1>\n

Ala\u00efa Bay ist stolz darauf, den ersten Event der Wavepool Surf Tour auszurichten und damit ein neues internationales Kapitel im Wavepool-Wettkampfsurfen zu er\u00f6ffnen.<\/p>\n

\"Surfen<\/p>\n

Als Ala\u00efa Bay 2021 unterhalb der Schweizer Alpen er\u00f6ffnete, zeigte die Anlage, dass Surfen auf Weltklasseniveau nicht mehr ausschliesslich dem Meer vorbehalten ist. F\u00fcnf Jahre sp\u00e4ter z\u00e4hlt Ala\u00efa Bay zu den bekanntesten Wavepool-Destinationen Europas und empf\u00e4ngt sowohl Surfanf\u00e4nger als auch internationale Spitzensportler.<\/p>\n

Dank der Wavegarden-Cove-Technologie<\/strong> hat sich Ala\u00efa Bay als Zentrum f\u00fcr Weiterentwicklung, Coaching, Hochleistungstraining und internationale Events etabliert. Damit ist die Anlage der ideale Ort f\u00fcr den Start eines Wettkampfformats, das speziell f\u00fcr das Wavepool-Zeitalter entwickelt wurde.<\/p>\n

Die Ala\u00efa Surf Challenge<\/h2>\n

Ab dem 1. August 2026<\/strong> reichen die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer ihre besten Wellen mithilfe der Surf Eye Technology<\/strong> ein. Die Leistungen werden bewertet und bilden die erste Rangliste der Er\u00f6ffnungssaison der Wavepool Surf Tour.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Ein neues Wettkampfformat<\/h2>\n

Im Gegensatz zu traditionellen Surf-Wettk\u00e4mpfen, die von wechselnden Meeresbedingungen abh\u00e4ngig sind, bietet die Wavepool Surf Tour ein konstantes und zug\u00e4ngliches Format auf Basis moderner Wavepool-Technologie.<\/p>\n

Das Konzept erm\u00f6glicht mehr Surferinnen und Surfern die Teilnahme an internationalen Wettk\u00e4mpfen und legt gleichzeitig grossen Wert auf Leistung, Weiterentwicklung und Gemeinschaft.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Die Austragung des ersten Events unterstreicht die Rolle von Ala\u00efa Bay in der Entwicklung des Inland-Surfens. Eine Surf-Destination auf Weltklasseniveau im Herzen der Schweiz h\u00e4tte fr\u00fcher wohl unwahrscheinlich gewirkt. Heute zieht Ala\u00efa Bay Surferinnen und Surfer aus ganz Europa und dar\u00fcber hinaus an.<\/p>\n
